Florence McGinn has developed strategies
to empower students in learning process theories and
enable them to participate in their own lesson planning.
This concept has now expanded to students demonstrating
the ability to write professional lesson plans for
teacher usage. Florence McGinn's former student Sujay
Pandit has had his student-written lesson plan used
in class, and SAS Institute's MidLink Magazine is
highlighting them. His site with the student-produced
artifacts from his propaganda lesson is called "Political
Dragon" and is at http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/fall00/congress/index.html
His actual lesson plan is published on the Dirksen
Congressional Center's site at http://www.congresslink.org/lessonplans/SPPropoganda.htm
And, for assessment, a student-produced assessment
rubric is at
http://www.congresslink.org/rubric.pdf
His lesson plan's objectives can be found at
