GKE has a significant commitment and involvement in technology-assisted learning opportunities, web-based education, policy research and development, innovative learning projects, digital divide issues, university facilitation, and knowledge management in the United States.

GKE corporate headquarters is located in Wayne, NJ. GKE USA is led by founder and CEO James Chang. The highly-qualified executive team includes Vice President of Research Florence McGinn and Director of Business Development Paul Lee. and Education Research Associate Neela Mookerjee. GKE relies on an extensive network of expert consultants, including Jianwei Cao, COO of GKE Beijing II; Douglas Chyan, President of D.K. Winston; Ron Fortunato, United States Space Education Ambassador; Lucy Lee, Executive Board Member of Chinese Language Association of Secondary Schools; Dr. Scott McGinnis of the National Foreign Language Center; Harry Clements-Shepherd, Australian National ICT Educator of the Year; Stan Silverman of the New York Institute of Technology; GKE Interns Douglas Gorton and Emily Judson; and many others on a specialized project basis.

Participated in a pilot program to develop community based learning centers in Far Rockaway, Queens

Participated in the Buffalo City NetProject that links 14 agencies across the city of Buffalo, New York

Participated with the AT&T Learning Network in the support of award-winning pilot projects

Led seminars on the technology and methodology of distance learning

Facilitated Utah State University and Dr. David Medlyn, Director of International Education, in the development of distance learning with China

KnowledgeWEB classrooms placed in schools and universities in Michigan, New York, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Washington DC, North Carolina, and other states

Cooperated with GKE Foundation to provide education technology architecture and GKE Innovative Learning System training to AESPU in Beijing, China.

GKE is contnuing its role as architects for similar projects and is focusing on linking classrooms in the U.S. to classrooms worldwide, thereby facilitating the global exchange of knowledge.
